I feel like it’s been forever since I posted something. I know, my inconsistency is killing me too but my exam comes first. Last Friday I spent the day with ifeoma of WHOWHATFAB. I met ifeoma some months ago at the Desiree Iyama shopping party. Weirdly I hadn’t ever seen her before and when I say that, I mean now a days you can always see someone on social media and the likes and I hadn’t. So anyways my best friend had and I’m the ‘loves making new friends’ type so I was going to definitely talk to her. Even before we approached her I noticed her taking a bunch of pictures around the store before she resulted to sitting in one little corner all by herself gazing at the cupcake in her hands and looking around. I just found it cute! Then, I found out she was a blogger as well so I was definitely going to form ‘by-force’ friendship Lol. So we got talking and I realized she was a very interesting person so we went on to exchange social media handles and here we are today.
Before I go on to how my day went, let me just say that keeping to time is not in her dictionary. The young lady kept me waiting for an hour! *rolls eyes* Anyways, we agreed to meet at Ecenter in Yaba. So she finally appeared and we went to cafe neo at the mall there to chill a bit and gist a lot! We just kept talking and talking!
A little while after that we decided to venture on our thrift shopping journey to Yaba market, because if you don’t know now, well I’m telling you “ifeoma is the actual queen when it comes to thrifting” *drops mic* Before we went to the market we pursed to take a few pictures.
Am I the only one that actually carries a shopping bag when going shopping? Although this is a new adoption for me too. I don’t know, I just absolutely hate the idea of having pieces of nylon bags everywhere. Well expect it’s maybe a shopping nylon or sack when I just walk out of a Gucci or Chanel store *cries is BROKE* one very day I shall own something for one of those stores. So we walked down to yaba market which was not a very long walk because it’s quite close to the mall. It was like I was going on a tour. Thrifting is a lot of work! I don’t know how people do this. To me it was like we were walking forever and the fact that you have to check to make sure what you are getting has a good quality… stress!. But trust ifeoma, I got the exact things I wanted. I can’t even wait to style them. *happy dance*. So in all I had a great day!
I hope you enjoyed this post and I’ll try my very best to post more frequently till my exam is over.
have an amazing day.
