How are you today? Hope your week is fruitful…
Oh and HAPPY NEW MONTH!
I can’t believe July is over already, my birthday felt like it was just yesterday. Sigh, see you next year July.
Sometime last week, I got an email inviting me to attend the Launch party of Frankie & Co’s FCO Denim line. It was held on Saturday the 29th of July at the Grey velvet Store at Circle Mall in Osapa London, Lekki. I figured I wasn’t going to be doing anything so why not.
On getting there and after surfing the store and trying on some jeans, I got talking with one of the brand ambassadors or at least I think that’s what she is. She spoke a bit about the line, and how they were all made from locally sourced fabrics/materials and made Here in Nigeria. Their denim line came in 4 styles : The Bootcut, Skinny, Cropped and Boyfriend. Their sizes range from 26 – 46 (UK 6 – 20) which I think is amazing because women of all shapes and sizes can get a good pair of jeans.
Another thing I thought was really cool was that, the pockets of the denim are made of Ankara fabric so they come in different patterns and it’s really pretty. As we all know there’s always two sides to everything. So, yeah the jeans are really nice and a perfect fit but in my opinion, the jeans are a bit over priced. I don’t know that many people who would easily pay a sum of N25,000 for one pair of jeans but then again the style and quality is really good so if you can afford it then why not!
What I’m wearing;
BAG: Kurt Geiger.
Any thoughts? Please leave a comment below, I would love to hear from you!
Till next time Guyss!
