– JUST WAIT, IT WILL NOT DELAY.. –

Hey Guys,

How are you all today?

Happy New Month!

I was told to write up a word for the day on my church department group chat so I decided to post it here to!

A lot of times we pray and pray and it seems like God isn’t listening to us. It always seems like our blessing are being delayed or are not going to come to pass at all. But in actual truth, it is looking like a delay because God is fine-tuning something. He is making little adjustments here and there so it can be perfect. Also, maybe it’s not just time. Maybe if he gives you this big blessing now, you’ll mismanage it.

Habakkuk 2:3 “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

This bible verse just says it all. It will SURELY come. Just wait. It will not delay. What happens most times is that we are inpatient. The time for us to wait, which is supposed to be used for giving thanks because you know your blessing is coming. We use it to look for alternative ways to get our blessings because we feel it’s taking too long.

I’ve listed some things below I feel would help us during our waiting period.

Things to do to get your blessing :

1.  Stand on the word : you insist that the situation must change Isaiah 55:11(So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it)

2. Be patient Hebrew 6:12( That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.)

3. Have an attitude of praise even in the midst of advisories Habakkuk 3:17-18 (17. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls. 18. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation)

4. Be persuaded : be convinced beyond reasonable doubt that’s God will do what he said he will do. Romans 4:21 (And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform)

I hope this was helpful to someone.

Have an amazing week.

Mo. xx
