Hey Lovlies,

How are ya’ll ? Hopefully fine!

Yes, this is a gospel related post and I realize I haven’t done one like this in a while. Some Sundays ago in church my pastor was giving a sermon and I heard him say “don’t be an on today, off tomorrow christian” and it stuck with me.

I started thinking about  many mistakes I made with the mindset that, when I go back to God tomorrow, he’ll forgive. No doubt he will, after all the bible says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” a lot of us use the fact that God said he will forgive us once we confess our sins to go about sinning.

Every act, every of our doings come with consequences. For instance, you killed someone, and the next day you give your life to Christ, it doesn’t mean because God will forgive you once you confess your sins, that you wont still bear the consequences of your actions. Get where I’m coming from now ? Yeah.

So, I know its hard. Heck! I battle with it everyday, but the more you go on ‘off ‘ days from your faith or religion, the harder it is to come on again. It’ll begin to look like stress to you. Reading the word would look so long, standing on Gods words would mean nothing to you. You would  begin to lose interest in anything relating to God.

Earlier on this year, I went through something so devastating that it almost tore me apart, I didn’t think I was ever going to be okay again. I didn’t go to church or pray for days. When I finally went, I felt out-of-place, like I wasn’t welcomed there which was the devil taunting me. God is always there with open arms, it’s you that would feel like you’ve done wrong so much that he wont accept you anymore, which is never the case. When people tell you that, it’s when you’re going through something terrible that you need God the most. You never seem to grasp it until it actually happens.

Guys, God is awesome! I honestly don’t even know, I can’t even figure out how I came out a stronger and better person. I know now that no matter what I’m going through, I’ll always make God first in that situation. Everything, every situation is better with him. Of course we’ll sin, of course we’ll backslide here and there, we are only human, but Shutting God out totally is always worse than any situation.

I hope you enjoyed todays post. Feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear from you.

Have a wonderful day!

Mo. xx

  1. I loveeeeee this post! We struggle everyday, we struggle to remain in line with Gods perfect plan for us. There’s no such thing as a perfect christian but we must not relent in our work towards perfection. Some days it is hard, really hard to believe given our circumstances but we must! We must trust God, meet with other believers and stay clear from falling back to our old ways.

    1. Exactly, in fact most days its hard. There are temptations everywhere and you are only human. But if you’re conscious of God and his presence in your life, nothing is impossible. Thank you soo much for your comment. xx
